He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Harvey Shiels and Alvina Shiels (Lorenz); and his sister Mary Harriott. He is survived by: his wife Carole Loveland; his children, Mary K. Bradish and John Shiels (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Brian, Bambie, Danne and Kim. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and 4 nephews.
