He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wintersteen and Mildred Wintersteen (Ryan); his former wife Barbara Wintersteen; and his brother Rickie Wintersteen. He is survived by: his former wife Pamela Hodges; his wife Pam Wintersteen of Tekonsha; his children, Kari Wintersteen of Charlotte, Kathy Butcher (Jason) of Galesburg, Troy Wintersteen (Christal) of Battle Creek, Gary Wintersteen (Cori Miller) of Tekonsha and Kay Sachjen (Chris) of Albion; and his stepchildren, Rebecca DeCauwer of Sturgis, Brian Hodges, Jr. of Sturgis and Branden Hodges of Sturgis.
