James Owen Stuart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Owen Stuart of Tekonsha, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 31, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Owen Stuart to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen E. Stuart and Jennie L. Stuart (Rickerd); his son Daniel Owen Stuart; his son-in-law Richard Barrington (Butch); and his grandchildren, Daniel Owen Stuart Jr., Sasha Stuart and Lindsey Stuart.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Cavinder; his children, Debora Long (Scott) and David Alan Stuart (Michele); his grandchildren, Robert (Rob), Richard (Rick), Hannah Barrington, Lacey Knowles (Stuart), Trevor Stuart (Pansy Goheen), Doug, Stacey, Stephanie Stuart, Andrew Long (Alyssa) and Eric Long (Serena Domsic); and his siblings, Judy Barnes (Henry), Richard (Becky) and Delton Stuart (Nancy). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union Church (United Church in Christ) (206 W Randall St, Tekonsha, MI 49092). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery.
