She was predeceased by : her parents, Harding H. Macdona and Evelyn "Evie" Burghart-Macdona; and her niece Katie Adams-Langley. She is survived by : her children, Libby Dietz (Brian) and Danford Piggins (Alicia); her grandchildren, Grace Cormany-Piggins, Mason Piggins, Hayden Melton, Mallory Melton, Matthew Melton, Nicholas Dietz and Faith Dietz; her siblings, Harding H Macdona Jr. and Patti Bower-Clarke; and her nephew Michael Macdona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of South-Central Michigan, 2500 Watkins Rd, Battle Creek, Michigan 49015.
