It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Glen Horton of Tekonsha, Michigan, born in Jackson, Michigan, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Glen A. Horton and Margaret L. Horton (Gyles). He is survived by : his wife Mary Howard of Homer; his children, Stephanie Ledbetter (Tim) of Ottawa, IL, Shannon Pearce (David) of Livonia and Robert Horton (Hope); his grandchildren, Ashley Pessia (Zachary) of Kalamazoo, Nickolas Pearce (Danielle) of Tekonsha, Lauren Pearce of Grand Rapids, Annelise Pearce of Livonia, Sara and Lisa Horton of Marshall; his brother Roger Horton of Homer; his cousin Don Horton (Gayle) of Georgia; and his friend Larry Robinson of Marshall.
Memorials may be given to the Homer FFA Chapter, 403 S. Hillsdale Street, Homer, MI 49245 or to the Calhoun County Yesteryear Association, c/o Tamy Woodward, 4820 Mann Road, Concord, MI 49237 for the annual tractor cancer drive that benefits the Marshall Fountain Clinic and the Bronson Battle Creek Cancer Center.
