He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Scavio and Marjorie Scavio (Baker); and his brother Tom Scavio. He is survived by: his wife Diane Majchszak; his children, Jennifer Hackette (Mike), Amy Heintschel (Rob), Gia Schwartz (Ryan) and Joshua Scavio (Alison); his grandchildren, Emily, Natalie Hackette, Gavin, Nathan Heintschel, Caitlyn, Ryan Jr. Schwartz, Nathan Bennett, Landon Mohr and Lucas Scavio; and his sisters, Renee Hofbauer (Jim) and Marsha Yeager (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (8330 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI 48182).
