He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Plaskiewicz and Wanda Plaskiewicz (Kotowicz); and his stepfather William Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Plaskiewicz (Janiszewski); his children, James W. Plaskiewicz Jr., Pamela McPeek (Mike) and Susan M. Bennett; his grandchildren, Ashlee Wilson (Michael), Heather Metzger (Jon), Michael McPeek (Cassie) and EJ Bennett; his great grandchildren, Waylon Metzger, Josie Metzger and Sunny McPeek; and his sisters, Mary Lou Pirucki-Hall and Geraldine Martis (James).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (8330 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI 48182).
