He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Nelson and Gladys Nelson (Shipman). He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Nelson (Appling); his sons, Matthew (Dionisia) and Bradley (Jessie Duhon); his siblings, Michael (Paula) and Bonnie Schinasi; and his grandchildren, Ellie Ellsworth and Leo David. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
