She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Jones and Clarence Austermiller; her stepmother Doris Austermiller; her siblings, Bernard Austermiller and Rose Marie Rombeiro (Austermiller); her son Mark Betley (late Carlene Wynn); her former husband Edward Betley; her grandson David Hawkins; and her great grandchild Chase Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald (Catherine Lynn Robson), Catherine, Theresa (Steve Horvath), Annette (Ted Overmann) and Kenneth; and her grandchildren, Joe Hawkins, Taura Hatcher (Betley), Kacey Betley, Nathan Betley, Giovanna Fotino, Camella Gentry (Fotino), Domenic Fotino, Matthew Horvath, Seth Horvath, Tony Montgomery, Josh Overmann, Maria Tantari (Overmann), Olivia Sargent (Overmann), Jeremia Overmann, Samantha Overmann, Alena Overmann and Nizhoni Brannon (Betley). She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home (1640 Smith Rd, Temperance, MI 48182). A rosary was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (8330 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI 48182). A Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
