She was predeceased by: her parents, Verle K. Elsten and Margaret E. Elsten (Kellogg); her husband Robert N. Polker; her son Robert J. Polker, Sr.; and her sisters, Nancy Carroll and Linda Winkler.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Patricia Alcock; her grandsons, Robert Polker, Jr. and Nicholas Polker (Carla Tanis); and her brothers, Keith Elsten (Annette) and David Elsten (Patricia). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home (1640 Smith Rd, Temperance, MI 48182). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the charity of the donor's choice.
