With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Heer of Temperance, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Heer and Charlotte Heer (Melchior); his stepson Matt Stacy; his sister Bonnie Rhodes; and his close friend Sadie.
He is survived by: his wife Susan A. Lenga; his children, Stephanie Stewart (James), Melissa Metzger (Bill) and Joshua Stacy (Sara); his siblings, Jim Heer (Kathy) and Lynn Mellon; his grandsons, Drake Stewart (Darby) and John Metzger; and his close friend Daisy.
