Vernon Bius Obituary
We announce the death of Vernon Bius of Temperance, Michigan, who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 79. Vernon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bius and Dorothy Bius (Ragan); and his siblings, Marilyn Kennedy, Nancy Vaughn and John D. Bius II.
He is survived by: his wife Christine (Cole); his children, James Bius, Jennifer Bius and Tracy Leach; his grandsons, Christopher Blasingim, Dillon Blasingim, Nicholas Leach and Alexander Leach; and his siblings, Kathleen Hassen and James Bius (Kay). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sujkowski Funeral Home (114 E Alexis Rd, Toledo, OH 43612). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
