With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond Allen James of Three Oaks, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence James (Gable) and Russell James; his daughter-in-law Lisa James (Murdock); his siblings, Shirley Schroeder, JoAnne Motycka, Sharon Motycka, Judy Bohne, Gordon James, Dick James and Larry James; and his siblings-in-law, Carole James (Motycka), Roberta Freeling (Mast), Glenn Bolton, Ron Schroeder, Jim Motycka, Tony Motycka, Rich Bohne, Paul Givens and Ollie Freeling.
He is survived by: his wife Jean James (Mast); his children, Raymond James (late Lisa) of Three Oaks, Dennis James (Alejandro) of Irvine, CA and Kristina Jirtle (Vic Upton) of New Buffalo; his grandchildren, Ronnie Swank (Roxie), Amanda James, Justin Jirtle (Sylvia) and Kaylee Jirtle; his great grandchildren, Mya, Kalum and Alex Swank; his siblings, Barbara Bolton and Terry James; and his siblings-in-law, Marcella James (Fellows), Sherilyn Johnson (Scurlock), Emma Givens (Mast), Kate Mast (Janssen), Nancy Mast (Dunkel), Fred Mast and Randy Mast. He is also survived by 34 nieces and nephews; and countless other extended family members, friends.
