He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. "Bill" Monroe and Beverly "Jane" Monroe (Pritchard); and his sister-in-law Susan Lowry (Hotovy). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Giacobone; his sons, Brendan Giacobone Monroe (Danielle Moreland), Colin Giacobone Monroe and Evan Giacobone Monroe (Courtney); his grandchildren, Cian Giacobone Monroe and Tristan Giacobone Monroe; his sisters, Cheryl Craig (Bruce) and Pamela Angthius (Larry); his siblings-in-law, Alison Giacobone (Tim Weber), John Hotovy (Lauren) and Tom Lowry; and his siblings' children, Peregrine, Dakota, Lealand Angthius, Justin, Aaron Hotovy, Tyler, Alec and Chase Berry.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riviera Theatre (50 N Main St, Three Rivers, MI 49093).
