He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald M. Knauss and Hattie E. Knauss (Bohnenstadt); his wife Fern Marie Knauss; and his brothers, Donald, Jerry and Larry Knauss.
He is survived by: his son Michael Knauss (Karen); his grandchildren, Kelly Hall (Scotty) and Kyle Knauss (Laura); and his great grandchildren, Benson and Weston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A committal service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
