He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Nowicki and Catherine Nowicki (Stachurski); his wife Bonnie Gierak; and his brother-in-law Robert Kolakovich. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Nowicki Jr. (Sherrie), Richard Nowicki (Nicole) and Cheri Nowicki (Genny); his grandchildren, Ryan Nowicki, Cauryn Nowicki, Britt Smolen, Breanna Litzow (James), Alecia Boatman (Adam), Genna Adams (Jonny), Tyler Leiter and Gage Leiter; his great grandchildren, Ethan Boatman, Ellie Boatman, McKennan Adams and Charlie Smolen; and his sister Rosalie Kolakovich.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edward's Catholic Church (332 State St, Mendon, MI 49072).
Memorial donations in Joe's name may be directed to the Fisher Lake Association, St. Edward's Catholic Church, Whitetails Unlimited, or the American Heart Association.
