She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Swonk and Ethel Swonk; her daughter Monica Joy Rumsey; her sister Sandra Meyers; and her siblings-in-law, Allen Thiel and Patricia Swonk.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur Rumsey (Art); her children, Veronica Wilson (John) of Otisville, MI, Julia Sailor, Kenneth Brown of Three Rivers, MI, Eric Rumsey (Jane) of Sturgis, MI and Russell Rumsey (Crystal) of LaGrange, IN.; her grandchildren, Matthew Wilson (Anita) of Orlando, FL, Sarah Wilson, Zach Brown of Otisville, MI, Nicholas Rumsey of Centreville, MI, Katie Hopper (Cory) of White Pigeon, MI, Jessica Wentzel (Matthew) of Three Rivers, MI, Karalynn and Allison Rumsey of LaGrange, IN; her siblings, Joseph Swonk of Dunnsville, VA and JoAnne Thiel of Cocoa, FL; and her great grandchildren, Ellie Hopper, Isla Hopper and Emma Wentzel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
