He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Preston and Florence Preston (Monit); his grandson Nathanial Johnson; and his siblings, Sharon Bowen (Preston) and Rick Preston.
He is survived by: his wife Carol "Lynn" Johnson; his daughters, Lórien Johnson, Lona Johnson-Preston and Lorinda Johnson-Preston; his granddaughters, Ashlan Johnson, Becca Johnson, Alyssa Preston and Drew Anderson; his great grandchildren, Kohen Bennett and Ky'Aire Johnson-Smith; his sister Michelle "Mo" Stienbarger; and his brother-in-law Dave Stienbarger.
Donations in Lon's memory may be directed to his family in care of Lynn Johnson.
