He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sommers and Dortha Sommers (Maugherman); and his son Justin Sommers. He is survived by: his wife Valarie Sommers; his children, Stephani Webb and Peter Sommers (Kelly); his grandchildren, Brandon Webb, Austin Shaver, Jesse Webb, Kasidy Webb of Sturgis, Peter Sommers, Timothy Weatherwax and Breana Sommers of Constantine; his great grandchildren, Ellenore Jean Webb, Colt Sommers and Omar Santiago Reyes; and his siblings, Glenn (Sandy), Darlene Stevens of Bellevue, MI and Marty Hoag (Keith) of Battle Creek, MI. He is also survived by many cousins.
