She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester "Chet" Smith and Dorothy Smith (Adams); her son Ken Detwiler, Sr.; her grandson Ken Detwiler, Jr.; and her sisters, Sandy Rininger and Jennifer Hoover.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laurie Paro of Decatur and Melody Decker of Three Rivers, Michigan. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
