She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Studier and Betty Studier (Kooi); and her siblings, Ted Leroy Studier and Joni Marie Studier. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey VanderWiere (Julie) and Kristin VanderWiere (David Kenyon); and her grandchildren, Megan Dahlinger, Bryce VanderWiere (Olivia), Jaden VanderWiere, Parker Garwick and Kinsleigh Garwick.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Latitude 42 (6101 W Main St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009).
