He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon E. Smith and Shirley Smith (Dentler); his brother James Mason; his daughter Jennifer Smith; his grandson Omarion Smith; his brother-in-law Josh Schwindt; and his uncle Jerry Dentler.
He is survived by: his aunt Chris Dentler; his friend Lela Schwindt; his children, Tiffany Sorto and Christopher Smith; his siblings, Charles Miller, Debora Bennett, Shawn Schwindt, Vicki Renner, Nancy Mellow and Sandy Alexander; his stepsiblings, Richard Bond, Linda Bond and Joseph Bond; his friend Elwin Wise (Vernon); and his cousin Kellie Smith (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
It is suggested that memorials and donations be made to the family.
