He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Mader and Merrion Mader; his wife Beulah Monroe; his siblings, Robert and Bonnie; his son David; and his granddaughter Diana.

He is survived by: his children, Donald (Marilou), Mark (Laurie), Timothy (Janice) and Merrion (Garry Watson); his daughter-in-law Debra Mader; and his stepchildren, Douglas Monroe (Cindy) and Joy Wegner (Glenn). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
