Marvin Rodney Maynard Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Rodney Maynard of Tipton, Michigan, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Maynard and Edna Fern Maynard (Alwine); his son Michael Maynard; and his brother Lee Roy Gillin. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jan Ries; his sons, Kevin Maynard (Becky), David Maynard (Heather) and Gregory Maynard (Jessica); his stepchildren, Mark Kish (Brianna) and Amy Taylor (Jon); his grandchildren, Gage Maynard, Tyler Kish, Caroline, Samantha and Edith Taylor; and his siblings, Sharon Cardinal, Bart Gillin (Cheryl) and Merv Maynard (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in honor of Marvin may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Hospice of Lenawee.
