He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe Palazzolo and Mamie Palazzolo (Tocco); his son Daniel LaFave; and his granddaughters, Jamie Moran and Trisha Moran Nimis.

He is survived by : his wife Marsha LaFave (Pennell) of Tower; his children, Chris Moran (Yvonne) of South Boardman, Greg Moran of Traverse City, Matt Moran (Bonnie) of Grand Lake, Jason LaFave of Onaway and Michelle Mills (Stu) of Cheboygan; and his sisters, Katherine Orr (Harold) of Orange Park and Mary Jackson of Eastpointe.
