It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan L. Cleland (Traverse City, Michigan), born in Kingsley, Michigan, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cleland and Hazel Cleland; his wife Alice; and his siblings, Robert, Charles, James, Jack and Ellen Marie.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kristin Bauman (Matt), James Coil, Jenna McRae (Michael), Maggie Biggar (Chad), Sam Olsen (Katelyn), Katy Giglio (Brad), Alyssa, Matthew and Ben Cleland; his great grandchildren, Michael, Jacob, Luke, Ben, Joey Bauman, Lexi J. Coil, Helen, Max, Vivian, Elliott, Jack Biggar, Gianna Giglio, Andre McRae and Baby Olsen; and his brother Clinton.
For his 90th birthday, during the pandemic, his family made a book, "Ninety Reasons Why We Love Dad and Grandpa.".
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Allan's honor can be made to the St. Patrick Food Pantry or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
