It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Doty Vogel of Traverse City, Michigan, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon Coppens and Gertrude Coppens; her husband George A. Vogel; her siblings, Jack H. Coppens, Alice Diggins, Dorothy Matus, Robert Coppens and James Coppens; and her brothers-in-law, Dr. Richard K. Vogel and Charles W. Vogel.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr George A. Vogel, Jr. (Donna) and David A. Vogel (Denisa). She is also survived by five grandsons, two great grandsons, one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriners Hospital for Children or the Suttons Bay-Bingham Library.
