He was predeceased by: his mother Susan Lynn Swanson Lyman. He is survived by: his father Greg Lyman; his sisters, Megan Feil (Geoff), Cortney Danbrook (Chris) and Hilary Lyman Bower (Ross Bower); and his nieces and nephews, Samantha, Emma Feil, Brogan, Hudson Danbrook, Mya, Anora and Beckham Bower. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.

Memorial contributions in his honor may be given to the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy.
