He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Lewis and Angeline Henrietta Nowak (Kucharek); his brothers, Joseph, Gabriel (Elaine) and Jerome Nowak; his father-in-law Donald O'Dell; and his grandfather-in-law Sophie Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Robin (O'Dell); his daughters, Lianne Abel (Brian) of Gaylord, Valerie Riley (Christopher) of Summerville, SC. and Jaqueline Goebel (Andrew) of Gaylord; his grandchildren, Zora, Braeson, Hadley, Oliver, Findley, Aleksander and Madison; his siblings, Mary Wenzel (David) of Gaylord, Antonia Dreyer (Steve) of Gaylord, Casimer Nowak (Pam) and Patricia Wilcox (Ron) of DeWitt, MI; his mother-in-law Mary O'Dell; and his extended family, Shawn, Jennifer O'Dell, Michelle Stazney, Alan O'Dell, Renee, Larry Campbell and Karen O'Dell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
