Dexter Keller Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dexter Keller of Traverse City, Michigan, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Keller and Eleanor Keller (Gorniewicz); his wife Arlene "Sue" Bassett; his parents-in-law, LaVern and Rhea Bassett; and his brother Max.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Shepardson (Terry) and Thom; his granddaughter Mayzee; his siblings-in-law, Marcia Morse (Richard), Ann Keller and Al Bassett (Bonnie); and his sibling's children, Daniel, Randall, Jason, Betsy, Kent and Kelsey. He is also survived by many good friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central United Methodist Church (222 Cass St, Traverse City, MI 49684).
