With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris June Ash of Traverse City, Michigan, born in Herrin, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Parsons and Mabel Parsons (Smith); her husbands, Jack A. Ufer and John H. Ash; her sister Phyllis Klimkiewicz; her stepdaughter Victoria Ash Johnson; and her great grandchild Lilly.

She is survived by: her children, Theresa Youngman (John) of Traverse City, Catherine Pettitt (Paul) of Jonesboro, Georgia, John (Diane) of Sault Ste, Marie, David (Penny) of Las Vegas, Mark (Barbara) of Rockford and Michael Ufer (Valley) of Traverse City; and her stepchildren, Margaret Schofield (Andrew) of Traverse City, Judith Ash Vaught of Traverse City, Dora Ash Tate of Traverse City, Michael Ash (Lisa) of Traverse City, Lynette Ash Morgan of Traverse City and Dale Ash of Traverse City.
