She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Niklas and Maria Niklas (Herbei); and her husband Louis "Lou" Steigerwald. She is survived by: her children, Trudy, David, Thomas (Kori) and Norman (Elisa); her grandchildren, Bradley, Nicholas (Amanda), Rebekah Olmstead (Scottie), Jonathan (Erin), Hayden and Zoe Keener (Chris); her stepgrandsons, Luke and Noah; and her great grandchildren, Heidi, Gerald, Mara, Thea and Hudson.

I loved coming to work on Tuesday when I knew that Elfie and Linnie would be there., Elfie was a talented seamstress who would have been given complicated projects to work on- sleeves to set, buttonholes, extra pleats..
