She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gustafson and Elizabeth "Betty" Gustafson (Finney); her husband Jack Stanley Smith; her sister Susan Axtell; and her brother-in-law Rick Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Smith (Kasie) of Ada and Kendra Balderach (William) of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Jackson, Spencer, Cooper, Oliver, Cy and Lucy; her mother-in-law Florence Johnson; and her brother-in-law Kerry Smith (Leslie) of Charlevoix. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends and neighbors.
