With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Wheeler (Traverse City, Michigan), born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on March 10, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Gordon L. Wheeler; her daughter Cindy Wheeler; her siblings, Charles Harty, Kenneth Harty and Maxine Dempsey; and her mother Wowrie.

She is survived by : her daughter Sherry Barich (Michael) of Lincolnshire, IL; her grandchildren, Michael Anderson (Sheila), Eric Anderson (Kimberly Crow), Stephanie Beckstead (Scott) of Traverse City, Kristen Moon (Jeff) of Battle Creek and Nicholas Barich of Lincolnshire, IL.; her sister Phillis Mowen; and her sister-in-law Lucy Harty. She is also survived by eight Great-Grandchildren, three Great-Great Grandchildren.
