James Owen Fellows Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Owen Fellows of Traverse City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Fellows and Edith Fellows (Watson); his wife Janice Ruth Cozart; his siblings, Jerry, Judy, Karen, Greg and Brenda; and his sister-in-law Dianna Shumsky.
He is survived by: his son Steven Fellows (Penny); his granddaughters, Lauren (John Pendock) and Hannah Fellows; his siblings, Marlo Fellows, Linda Sharp (Pete) of Cadillac, Mike Fellows (Darlene) of Cadillac, Donny, Doug Fellows of Manton and Donna Clapp (Steve) of Breckenridge, MI; and his in-laws, John Shumsky, Nancy Burns (Robert) and Kandie Cozart (Lisa). He is also survived by other loving family members and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to P.A.T.H. (Passing Along the Heritage), a special needs veterans and hunting organization that was close to Jim's heart, or to the Fellows family.
