He is survived by: his wife Peggy Remtema Byland; his children, Mark Byland (Jennifer), Ellen Zupancic (Joe) and Ann Knudsen (Ryan); his grandchildren, Megan, Laura, Ella, Mariah, Caleb, Ryan, Luke and Christopher; and his brothers, Jeffrey Byland (Elaine) and James Byland (Mary).
