It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Dougherty (Traverse City, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Dougherty; her parents, Edmund Janssens and Emma Janssens Gilbert; her stepfather James Gilbert; and her brother-in-law John Dougherty.
She is survived by: her children, Kristin Dougherty, Jennifer Hirsh (Patrick) and Patrick Dougherty (Julie); her grandchildren, Connor, Jacob Dougherty, Jackson and Samantha Hirsh; her siblings, Eileen Nasif (Bill) and John Janssens (Meg); her stepsister Barbara Horner; and her sister Rose Ann Dougherty (John). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
