He was predeceased by: his parent Eulallia Margaret Gerhardt (Cosgrove); his wife Phyllis Ann Gerhardt (Pelky); his father Leonard Gerhardt; his siblings, Louis Gerhardt and Sharon; his brother-in-law Ron Moore; his son-in-law Jack Follett; and his granddaughter-in-law Suzanne Lesley Gerhardt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Grace A. Callahan (Michael) and Nancy G. Follett (Jack); and his grandchildren, Jackie Rindlisbacher, Lisa Pfeiffenberger (John), Jamie Callahan and Jennifer Callahan-Smith (Dustin).
