He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Wilson and Alice Wilson (Franklin); and his wife Janet Lynne Norcross. He is survived by: his son Edwin; and his granddaughter Melissa Lynn Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3746 Veterans Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens (3575 Veterans Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684).
