She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Hanak and Helen Hanak; her husband Walter Stanley Lasko; and her son David. She is survived by: her children, Diane McCowan (Robbie) of Ann Arbor and Jeffrey Lasko (Mary) of Traverse City; and her grandchildren, Justin, Collin, Nicole, Michelle, Andrew and Natalie. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.

Decades later, she endured the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
