With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marilyn Ruth DuMond of Traverse City, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the vast expanse of eternity, Marilyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marilyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Movalson and Ruby Movalson (Lawson). She is survived by: her daughter Deborah DuMond Berry (Joe); her husband Leroy Frank DuMond; her grandchildren, Joseph and Marilyn Johns (Carter); her great grandchildren, Kiersten and Madeleine; and her brother Charles Movalson (Elaine). She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
She also contributed significantly to the American Cancer Society of Lower Michigan through her volunteer work.
