He was predeceased by: his son Clayton Yahr; his grandson David Yahr; his parents, Clayton Yahr and Jean Yahr (Anderson); and his siblings, Lucille Dunham, Gerald Yahr, Ronald Yahr and Karen Yahr.
He is survived by: his wife June Yahr; his sons, Philip Yahr (Sharon) and John Yahr (Linda); and his grandchildren, Lisa, Amber, Joni, Kristy and Bradley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Grawn Bible Methodist Church.
