She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Wilson and Bessie Wilson (Voice); her husband Nahum Edward Avery; her siblings, Duane, Jimmy, Denise and Jackie; her daughter-in-law Diane Avery; and her pet Dozer.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Avery, Rhonda Winn (Ronald), Chuck Avery and Dan Avery; her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Aeron, Levi, Jill, Jonathan and Stephanie; her great grandchildren, Jade, Josh, Caleb and Oscar; her great great grandchild Millie; her sisters, Nancy Wilson, Sandra Sleder, Diane Cowley, Gloria Burke (Dennis) and Jennifer Simmons (Wayne); her sister-in-law Cheryl Wilson; and her pet Izzy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
