He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hoag and Gertrude Hoag; his siblings, Yvonne and Donald; his wife Anita Hoag (Buzek); his sister-in-law Mary Jane Hoag; and his niece Patti White.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Duso (Jack), Kristi Schreiber (Mike), Lisa Waslawski (Jim) and Linda Pisani; his brothers, Edwin Hoag and Darwin Hoag (Cori); his grandchildren, Ryan McGuire, Megan Love (Michael), Erin Bremer (Geoffrey), Ashleigh Ali (Yusef), Tyler Dunham (Katina), David Schreiber (Rhiannon), Marcus Schreiber (Erin), Trevor Waslawski, Tyler Waslawski, Mike Pisani (Beth), Andrea Johnson (Terry) and Jeff Pisani (Laura); and his son-in-law Ralph Pisani.
