He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his children, Phillip (Lynn) and Christine Bartels (Matt); his grandchildren, Elise, Emmerson and James; and his sisters, Janet Middlebrook (Ron) and Ruth Ann Hawley (John). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
