The passing of Phyllis Madeline Packer of Traverse City, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 19, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Murl Krumlauf and Minnie Krumlauf; her children, Lynne Dodge (James), Doug Peterson (Nancy), Dale Peterson (Carol), Suzette Blair (Scott), Shellie Smith and Connie Rathbun; and also, Steve Packer (Linda), Cathy Chilson (Dale), Cheryl Packer, Bill Packer (Maureen), Paula Grey (Ed) and Marlene Overmeyer (Kevin). She was also cherished by her 16 grandchildren; and her 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens (3575 Veterans Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684).
