He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Podleski and Anastasia Podleski (Novak); his wife Janice Faith Morton; his brother Frank; and his sister-in-law Barbara Podleski (Wilson).
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Bernard "Bernie" Morton (Bobbi), Alice Johnson (Doug), Walter "Wally" Morton (Gale), Mark Morton (Dick) and Christine Wilds; his nephew Dylan Podleski; his niece Sara Podleski (Brumm); his brothers, Leonard Podleski (Sharron Kubesh) and Jerry Podleski (Sue Thompson); his nephew Jeremiah; his great-nephews, River and Zeke; his great-niece Addi; and his friend Peggy Bell. He is also survived by nine step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
