He was predeceased by: his mother Dora Hentschel (Mackey); his siblings, David and Paula; his wife Deb; his children, Tiffany Flesher (Kent), Loren Lamoreaux and Rob Hentschel; and his siblings, Rich (Kath), Kathie Cadwell (Gary), Tim (Torney), Ted (Dolly) and Ben (Vickie).
He is survived by: his father Leroy Hentschel; his grandchildren, Jordan (Joyce), Austin (Kaylynn), Robyn, Abby, Skylar (Izabel), Alex, Michael, Kenzie, Miriam, Rebekah, Mikey, Isaiah, Kristopher and Willow; and his great grandchildren, Ezra, Jolene and EllaGrace. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Bay Calvary Church (2225 E Hammond Rd, Traverse City, MI 49686). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens (3575 Veterans Dr, Traverse City, MI 49684).
