He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Wooters and Wilhelmina Wooters of Traverse City; and his brothers, Richard and Arnold "Pete" Wooters. He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Fuksa); his children, Cheryl Waisanen (Dennis), Bruce Wooters and Patrick Wooters (Beckie); his grandchildren, Sara Smith (Colin), Michael Waisanen (Allie) and Hunter Wooters (Emily Farkas); and his great grandchildren, Madison, Mathew, Macie, Maxwell Smith, Levi, Brooks and Ezra Waisanen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home (305 Sixth St, Traverse City, MI 49684). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 28th 2025 at the That He Drove Home.
