She was predeceased by: her brothers, Paul and Mark Fleckenstein; and her stepdaughter Leslie Poleo (Mark). She is survived by: her siblings, Carolyn Scott (Jay) and John Fleckenstein (Jodi); and also Kimberly Crosby (John). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
She made charitable contributions to many individuals, colleges, and women's groups. Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to the Jack Leishman Engineering Technology Fund at Northwestern Michigan College.
